SAT Festival - Breath

Now, many people search for stimulation and beauty somewhere far away — overseas, online, in whatever is newest.

But is that really true? Look closely, observe carefully, and you'll find it was always within a breath's reach — hidden just beside everyday life.

Taking as its motif the light that spills through a narrow gap, this installation stands as an antithesis to the modern affliction brought on by an avalanche of information, bringing to light the beauty we've unconsciously overlooked, and the miracles that live close at hand.

Through observation and focus, the world rises anew —

an attempt to quietly hand the viewer that calm, certain experience.

いま多くの人は、刺激や美を遠くに求める。海外、ネットの中、新しいもの。

だが本当にそうだろうか。目を凝らし、観察すれば、それらは
呼吸の届く距離——日常のすぐそばに潜んでいる。

本作は、わずかな「隙間」から射し込む光をモチーフに、雪崩のように
押し寄せる情報がもたらす現代の病へのアンチテーゼとして、無意識に
見過ごしてきた美しさと、身近にある奇跡を顕在化させるインスタレーションである。

観察と集中によって、世界は新たに立ち上がる——

その静かで確かな体験を、観る者にそっと手渡す試みだ。
